Baby quilts and crib quilts. Quick projects - but loved and appreciated. These were for my friend, Karen's, grandchildren.

I made matching quilts for my great nephews, Shane and Nathan. The blocks are log cabin style around clipart transportation vehicles.

Pam Q2Above:  This quilt was for my sister Pam. (Pictured on the left holding it.)  It is paper pieced for the most part.  I like that because I am vision impaired and that allows me to be accurate and gives me clear sewing lines.  Pam is delighted with her quilt – and she is such a thankful person, every moment of designing it and sewing it was fun!IMG_1710 This Bargello was for my niece, Lisa.  It was my first Bargello.  I had Lisa select 6 fat quarters that she liked – then I used them as a guide to select the 12 fabrics that I used.  They didn’t necessarily include the fabrics she selected – but they coordinated with them and included the variety and values I needed to get the design movement.  She also loved her quilt.  My family is always so appreciative.aa-love 021

This quilt was for Mary. First truly original quilt I made.
