I have been in cat rescue for 15 years. Because of my age and because my first grandchild will hopefully be arriving on the scene in the next year, I am trying to slow down my level of rescue work. Slowing down, however, includes keeping the variety of cats I have gathered over the years who were not adoptable to other homes for one reason or another. This includes the cat of indomitable spirit – Flopsy.
Flopsy has the cat version of cerebral palsy. He is strong, determined and a great jumper – but he has very little fine motor control. He can jump high enough to get in the drawer – but he can’t control his landing!
